Student Membership
Student involvement is integral to the mission of ACUR to advance and promote undergraduate research throughout Australasia. Students are actively engaged in all ACUR work and activities and make an important contribution to our work. Undergraduate students who present their research at ACUR Conferences become members of ACUR following their presentation. Students (including postgraduates) can also join as individual student members. Click here to join
Student Committee
An integral component of student collaboration with ACUR is through ACUR’s Student Committee (the ACURSC). At ACUR’s Annual General Meeting, held during the annual ACUR Conference, an Incoming Head of Student Committee is elected for the following year. Once elected, the Head of Student Committee recruits their team by advertising through ACUR’s social media platforms and email communications. Additional recruitment may occur throughout the year as needed.
The leadership follows a two-year cycle: after serving one year as Incoming Head, the individual transitions to Outgoing Head for a second year, providing mentorship and support to onboard the new Incoming Head and Student Committee.
