2019 Conference Submissions

Abstract submissions are now closed

If your abstract has already been submitted and accepted through the review process, and you have received a request for a full paper, you can submit your paper here.

Submissions are sought from undergraduate students, Honours students 2018-2019 and MRes students (in the first year of candidature) in any academic discipline. Students at any stage of research, including those with in-progress and preliminary findings, are welcome to present.

To be considered to present at ACUR 2019, please submit your abstract by Friday 2nd August 2019. You may submit a full paper with your abstract, or send following acceptance of your abstract.

If you have any queries about the submission deadlines, please contact conference@acur.org.au.

When submitting, you can select a preferred outcome from:

  • a poster presentation
  • a short oral presentation
  • a full paper and oral presentation
  • a full paper and poster presentation.

All submissions must include an abstract. Your abstract must include the following features:

  • a clear statement of your research question or field of investigation
  • a clear statement of research methods
  • the background to your research project
  • a summary of your conclusions (or preliminary conclusions)
  • meet the 300 word limit.

While submissions will be reviewed by academics in relevant fields of study, you should aim to write your abstract in such a way that is accessible to a broad audience.

All papers should be uploaded as Word documents and meet the requirements for full papers set out in the Manuscript Guidelines.
