Submission of abstracts NOW OPEN

Abstracts are sought from undergraduate students, 2018 Honours students and 2017 Honours graduates and MRes students (in the first year of candidature) in any academic discipline.

Students at any stage of research, including those with in-progress and preliminary findings, are welcome to present.

To be considered to present at ACUR 2018, please submit your abstract by Friday, 29 June 2018.

You will be informed of the committee’s decision by the Friday, 10 August 2018.

Your abstract must include the following features:

  • a clear statement of your research question or field of investigation
  • a clear statement of research methods
  • the background to your research project
  • a summary of your conclusions (or preliminary conclusions)
  • meet the 300 word limit.
  • Because ACUR is a multi-disciplinary conference, you should aim to write your abstract in such a way that is accessible to a broad audience of your peers.

    Send your coversheet and abstract to ACUR Abstract Submission.

    Students who are accepted to present their abstracts at ACUR 2018 are further invited to submit a full paper by 30th August for consideration for publication. The paper must not be longer than 4000 words, including the original abstract and the reference section. The paper submission must include an updated, signed manuscript coversheet and adhere to the submit a full paper guidelines.
