In view of ACUR’s growing position as the leading promoter for undergraduate research in Australasia, it has now become incorporated in New South Wales. This necessitates an Executive Committee to be appointed at an Annual General Meeting. The Draft Constitution sets out the responsibilities of the Executive whose purpose is to act for ACUR in all matters of policy and practice. The Steering Group is an advisory group and the Executive acts on the advice of the Steering Group. The proposed responsibilities of the Steering Group are also to be found in the draft Constitution here.
With this in mind, an Interim Executive has been established. At the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held during the ACUR conference on 24th-25th September 2018, those present will be asked to ratify the Draft Constitution.
